We’re here to make seamless
EV charging finally happen
and to accelerate the switch

our story

Imagine a world where we could move around and let our planet breathe at the same time

2020 gave us a real glimpse of a cleaner, quieter world. It showed us first hand the dramatic positive impact that slowing down fossil-fuel activities can have on the planet.

For now, the only solution to a greener way of moving is switching to electric vehicles.
But with the climate clock ticking rapidly against us, we felt like things weren’t moving fast enough. The e-mobility industry wasn't building the right software to facilitate a hassle-free and seamless charging experience, leaving drivers frustrated and others reluctant to make
the switch.

After spending 10 years researching, consulting, and educating people about the underlying technology and standards that make user-friendly EV charging a reality, we decided to take matters into our own hands and start developing the software solutions ourselves. Today, we build the software that makes the EV charging experience as easy and seamless as it can be.

We continue to educate, and with open source versions of our technology, we inspire innovation within the industry so we can get there quicker, together. Because we believe
that by making things as simple and seamless as possible, we can accelerate the switch to
a greener world  – and protect this wonderful planet of ours, before it’s too late.

Our commitments

How we’re promising to make mobility the solution for a healthier planet

Pioneering technology

Our deep knowledge of the industry means that we know exactly what technology is needed to create an EV charging ecosystem that’s easy to use and runs like clockwork. We’re continuously researching the best possible solutions out there.

User-centric design

Our products are designed to make everyone’s lives easier, so we always test them with real users as well as experts in the field. This way, we know exactly what works and what doesn’t, and what we can do to solve those problems.

Active contributions

We’ve always been right at the heart of the industry. Over the last 10 years, our founder,
Marc, has actively contributed to the writing of industry communication standards and protocols, such as ISO 15118 and OCPP 2.0.1.

Environment first

The very nature of what we do is based on positively impacting the planet, but we always want to push ourselves to be the most sustainable we can be. We believe that businesses should work together as a force for good.

Collaborative approach
to innovation

Because we all have the same goal, we believe
in sharing knowledge. This is why we share in-depth articles and open source versions of our technology so that others can use it to create
new innovative solutions.

Our team

The specialists leading the way

Our founder, Marc, has been at the heart of the industry for over 10 years, actively helping to write the latest EV communication standards. Our ISO 15118 Manual has become the industry’s go-to piece of literature – and our training programs are in high demand. It is this expertise that has got us to where we are today, and it’s why we believe that we’ve created the most reliable, innovative, and easy-to-use tech solutions for the EV charging industry.

Our clients

We’re trusted by the best

Over the last ten years, we’ve become the leading industry experts in EV charging communications standards and protocols. We know what it takes to build a robust and easy-to-use charging ecosystem that seamlessly works together.

As we were intensively implementing and testing ISO 15118, we noticed there was a lack of overview of Plug & Charge and the whole supply chain amongst our stakeholders.

Our training with Marc helped us achieve a much better understanding of the whole ecosystem. It led to constructive discussions on the requirements and concept of ISO 15118 in general.”

Angelika Neuleitner,

charging system Specialist at Ionity

Working with recognized standards is the right way forward for the integration of electric vehicles into the grid, and we value Switch’s strong experience with the ISO 15118 standard.

We were able to leverage Marc’s insights to corner some of the keys issues pertinent to V2G in the published standard that needed to be addressed.”

Hamza Lemsaddek,

Director embedded solutions at Nuvve Corporation

Attending Switch’s intensive two day training with the team gave us a deep dive into ISO 15118 and the different use cases.

We were able to validate our design with regards to the ecosystem and beyond. We now have a head start for the development of our next generation chargers and are able to support our customers for the deployment of the equipment all over Europe.”

Johan Devos,

business development Manager at ENOvates

Certificate handling in ISO 15118 is a quite complex issue. Marc’s well prepared one-day course on this topic and his deep knowledge helped us to train our team and speed up the development of the ISO 15118 Plug & Charge charging controller”

Johannes Bergmann,

eMobility Charging Systems DEVELOPER at SIEMENS AG

When I was working with students on ISO 15118 projects, Marc's courses tremendously helped in getting students to understand the standard quickly and dive into coding without hesitation. Marc's crystal-clear explanations with eye-catching graphics will make you an EV charging expert in one week.”

Minho Shin,

Professor at Myongji University

In two exciting training days, Marc quickly and effectively explained ISO15118 communication to our experienced development team. In addition to the in-depth technical knowledge, the information about the communication standards that are still being established is very valuable. The training will definitely help us to make the implementation more effective.”
